When moving to the UK in 1992, she trained as a graphic designer, and became creative content lead for ‘DVDstreet’, a world leading and award winning web site. She later became a qualified Make Up artist and graduated from the London School of Beauty and Makeup as a Fashion / Photographic / Make-Up Artist. More recently, she has concentrated her time on creating a series of abstract expressionism Art, building a new collection where she can freely express her own style of experiencing the surrounding world. Many of Evelina’s works show how she creates an Abstract painting where specific themes appear with carefully crafted design a challenging and Quantum inspired ability that escapes in her painting, defies traditional explanation and puts imagination at the forefront of viewing each work. Artists Statement: Painting and drawing was the most natural way of expressing my emotions from an early age. By the way I experience everyday life and the world as a whole, I feel driven to capture moments, an emotion or a feeling and transfer it to canvass with a vibrant and creative message. I believe you can find beauty at any time while contextualising the moment driven by the positive elements that should lead us to satisfaction, success and embrace freedom. ‘Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder’.
