Fran Lamothe Artist Bio:

Fran is a contemporary artist. She takes pictures and transform her images in Photoshop. She combines photography, digital imaging and collage with her own paintings. She work’s with acrylic paint, oil sticks, graphite, collage, textiles, encaustic and bees wax. Fran work with her computer to do research, process and consolidate. She create geometries and re-contextualize. She transform the digital into tangible of paint. She paints with bold colors stripes, textures, strokes, lines and emotions. Fran construct and deconstruct until it feels good to her. Fran Lamothe studied at School of Visual Arts, American Film Institute and Art Center in Graphic design, multimedia,cinema and fine arts. Fran had her own digital imaging studio in Montreal and design studio in Los Angeles for over 15 years in which her portfolio includes entertainment industry projects, from interactive design; DVD’s, websites, e-commerce to CD&DVD packaging, print design and real estate design and marketing.
